No one appreciates Friday more than people in education. For the most part --- good reasons. Not only do teachers recharge their batteries on the weekend, but they start the next week.

For me, it is that and a chance to regroup. What I mean is in the library so many things pull at you. If you want to make a librarian laugh, make a joke about how a teacher brings their class down to the library after giving you 10 minutes to research databases for human rights. When they probably have been planning that unit for a week or maybe they have been planning it for 11 minutes. Either way you have to come up with something.

So heading into Friday, you start thinking, if I make it, it will be better on Monday
and it will.
